Before you book

Read them all
Do I need a racing licence?
No. Every drive is on a closed circuit with a professional instructor in the car beside you. Drivers need a current learner's licence at minimum, plus 50 logbook hours.
What do I need to bring?
Photo identification, and your voucher or booking confirmation email. Drivers also need their licence. Anyone under 18 needs parental permission, and a legal guardian must sign the indemnity form and produce photo ID and a Medicare card listing both themselves and the child.
How old do passengers have to be?
Passengers must be over the age of 7. Anyone under 18 needs parental permission and a guardian to sign the indemnity form.
What should I wear?
Minimum clothing is enclosed shoes, preferably long pants and a long shirt. Every participant must also buy a Race X balaclava on the day, for $10.
What time should I arrive?
Arrive 30 minutes before your booking time and head to the Race X administration desk to fill out the paperwork.
What happens when I get there?
You show your ID and confirmation at the desk and receive an armband, attend the drivers' briefing and get a stamp, then head to the staging area in pit lane to suit up. From there you line up in the waiting bays for a car.
